How often are you open?
We are Open every Saturday - April through October - from 8am to 12pm rain or shine. November through March we open every Saturday 9am to 12pm.
What does the application process look like?
All applicants must make, grow/raise, handcraft or prepare their products within 100 Miles of Midland.
Our Vendor Committee reviews new applications regularly for approval.
All vendors must apply, have all needed documents, and be approved before vending. Incomplete applications will be denied.
Do I need to pay the application fee when I apply?
No. The application fee is a one-time payment due after you are accepted and can be paid via PayPal in conjunction with your first market fee.
How much do spaces cost?
Each Saturday rental spaces are $40 for single 10x10 booths. These can be paid via PayPal Sunday through Wednesday. Late Fees paid after Wednesday are $50. Electricity is an additional $10.
What paperwork do I need to be a vendor at your farmers market?
My business makes food items what do I need to become a vendor with your Farmers Market?
Our market operates under Cottage Law. Ready to eat/drink items must meet requirements of Midland County Heath Department and be made on-site. Food Handlers permit, proper labeling, and proper packaging is required for Cottage Law food makers.
I am a small, backyard gardener. Do I need a FSA# on my application?
No, this information is only for commercial growers.
PET Food/Animal Feed What do I need?
You will need a current copy of your Texas State Chemist (TSC) license and be in compliance with the TSC office.
You will also need a sales tax permit.
Once I submit my application, do I just show up?
I sell products for a company, but I don’t make them. Can I sell at MDFM?
Not at this time. ALL items must be homemade, handcrafted or homegrown within 100 miles of Midland.
I am a local business or nonprofit but I don’t qualify as a regular vendor…. how do I get involved?
We do allow and support local businesses with community outreach.
Because of this we provide three opportunities for business to serve our community up to per category below:
